Job Description:
AIG is seeking a motivated and resourceful Web Chat Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. This is a full-time, entry-level position that allows you to work from the comfort of your own home. As a Web Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through online chat interactions.
Responsibilities:1. Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries via web chat.2. Assist customers with account inquiries, technical support, product information, and more.3. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and escalations.4. Document all interactions and follow up as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.5. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.6. Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response time and customer satisfaction ratings.7. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers.
Requirements:1. Strong communication skills and the ability to type quickly and accurately.2. High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.3. Previous customer service experience is a plus but not required.4. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.5. Must be resourceful, driven, and able to think critically under pressure.6. Demonstrated cooperation and negotiation skills to handle challenging customer interactions.7. Comfortable using technology and learning new software platforms.8. Remote work experience is a plus.
