Job Description:
Nucor, a leading steel and steel products company, is looking for a part-time Web Chat Officer to join our team on a remote basis. As a Web Chat Officer, you will be responsible for engaging with customers through the company's website chat platform to provide support, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities:- Engage with customers via web chat to provide support and assistance- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and effectively- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members for resolution- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers
Requirements:- 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field- Resilient and resourceful personality traits- Strong communication skills- Creativity and time management skills- Proficiency in web chat platforms and customer service software- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
