The Opportunity:
As the VP of Sales, you'll be at the forefront of driving our sales strategy and revenue growth. You'll lead a talented team to exceed targets and contribute to the overall success and growth of our organization. This role is remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere.
What You'll Do:
Lead strategic planning and provide guidance to elevate the performance of our sales team.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth.
Develop and implement effective cross-selling strategies to maximize the adoption of our product lines by existing clients.
Regularly analyze revenue performance to provide accurate forecasting for financial planning.
Utilize data analytics and market research to identify trends and insights guiding revenue generation efforts.
Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration between sales and other functional areas within the company.
Collaborate with the executive team to optimize sales models and remove barriers to sales activity execution.
Optimize employee retention through development programs and a positive team culture.
Drive product awareness and accelerate product interest by collaborating with product and marketing teams.
What You'll Bring:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in second-level or higher sales leadership roles within a SaaS company, with preference given to experience in municipal, county, or state government sales.
Strong understanding of SaaS business models, pricing strategies, and subscription-based revenue models.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Data-driven and analytical mindset.
Proven experience leading a sales team with successful quota attainment.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or similar field. MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
