We are on the lookout for a dynamic Vice President of Business Development to spearhead our company's growth initiatives. This pivotal role encompasses leading our business development, strategic account management, task management, capture, and marketing communications efforts across the entire Business Development Life Cycle. The ideal candidate will work closely with operations, proposal operations, contracts, and finance teams to facilitate and drive exponential growth, serving as the execution sponsor for our cornerstone growth plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategic account oversight within sectors such as Nuclear Enterprise Services and Training Enterprise Services, among others.
Manage and grow our business development pipeline in areas including Enterprise Information Technology, Training and Readiness, and the Intelligence Community.
Coordinate and lead high-level business reviews, including monthly growth reviews, weekly meetings, and operational updates.
Utilize business development tools for data analysis, supporting executive decision-making through insightful dashboards.
Guide the pipeline capture process, offering support and direction for both organic and strategic opportunities.
Oversee task order management for key contracts and agreements, ensuring portfolio management excellence.
Champion customer engagement strategies to enhance opportunity qualification and increase customer value through meticulous capture planning and customer relationship building.
Lead the internal gate review process, adhering to industry best practices for business development.
Collaborate with operations and proposal operations teams to align business development targets with organizational goals and ensure proposal excellence.
Coordinate with finance on pricing strategies and price-to-win analyses to support competitive bidding.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Over 15 years of experience in leading business development or growth initiatives within the DoD, IC, or federal sectors. Direct experience with DTRA, DIA, and DoD is highly desirable.
Ability to travel domestically up to 20% of the time.
