Safety is important to us, we provide PPE and much more. Job Overview: Our Veterinary Receptionists are the first point of contact for Garden Grove Dog and Cat Hospital clients. This position requires compassion for them and their pets, an ability to multitask, and to keep the flow of the hospital moving efficiently and effectively. Strong communication skills along with maintaining a sense of calm under pressure are also keys to success.
Job responsibilities include:
Answering phones and completing patient histories for the DVM teamReviewing treatment plans with clientsFilling prescriptions Maintains high standards of client and patient careCommunicates clearly with the veterinarians, other hospital personnel, and clients toMust be friendly and flexible in the face of varying expectations from clients and coworkersAble to multi-task, prioritize tasks well, and think creativelyProvide for patient and client comfort by keeping the hospital clean and presentableIdeal candidate: Customer Service experience in veterinary medicine Must be willing to work evenings and weekendsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Understanding of basic math and accounting Strong critical thinking skills Ability to multitask Must be a natural with organizational abilities Must be energetic, positive, take initiativePay: $18-$20/hour
Days and Hours: Four shifts per week including three weekdays and one weekend shift.
