Job Title: Vehicle Operations SpecialistPay rate: $26.66/hr.Location: Brooklyn, NYZip Code: 11237Start Date: Right AwayKeywords: #BrooklynJobs; #VehicleOperationsSpecialistjobs;Job Description:SCHEDULE: Mon-Sat 7 AM-7 PM (average 5 days per week at 8 hours per day within these days/times)THIS ROLE IS 100% onsite at the location on the reqEnsure quality standards through washing vehicles exterior and cleaning/preparing vehicles interiorShuttling vehicles to/from secondary locations including customer and fleet vehiclesFacilitate vehicles through the pre-delivery inspection process - (cosmetic inspection of vehicle, dynamic test drive and assessment of vehicle, compressed air tool use, as well as torque wrench utilization)Proficiency with computers and software including Microsoft Office and internal business platformsConduct quality control processes for delivery ready vehicles and manage the communication of defects to the service departmentMaintain the delivery readiness of vehiclesResponsible for organizing and maintaining secure key management for vehicle inventoryMaintain the inventory lot, ensuring that there are always safe and usable drive lanesPrepare, inspect, and stage customer trade-ins to be transported to the auction via carrierComplete additional work and tasks as requested by the leadership teamQualifications1+ years of experience with operations, logistics, or lot management; previous automotive, electric vehicle (EV), and/or detailing experience valuedExperience in service industry writing work orders is preferredMust be at least 21 years of ageHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAbility to work a flexible schedule to support customers on nights, weekends and/or holidaysMust have a valid driver's license in the state/province of residence that you will be driving/operating a vehicle (or state that you are commuting daily to/from)No drug or alcohol related driving incidents in the last 3 years; No more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years; No driving related suspensions or revocation of Driver License within a 3-5 year periodWill be subject to continuous Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoringWillingness to work holidays, nights, evenings, and weekends as neededPhysical RequirementsWillingness to work in various working conditions including being in an active service center or unpredictable weather conditionsPhysical exertion may be required to perform occupational tasks (sitting up to two or more hours at a time, standing for up to eight or more hours a day, walking, bending, kneeling, laying, twisting, carrying, reaching, stretching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.)Frequent use of hands for purposes of grasping and using tools correctly, entering data, writing communications, or calling customers or internal partnersStrong understanding of written and spoken EnglishAbility to see, read, and interpret documents such as governmental regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions/schematicsIf you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
