Job summary
Seeking Unit Manager for dayshift Monday through Friday at our 100% employee-owned nursing facility.Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with excellent clinical skills and supervisory experience in senior healthcare and rehabilitation.Responsible for the nursing care and service to the patients on your unit, and supervision of staff.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Inputting orders and updating patient charts• Communicating with resident families and health care professionals• Participating in care plans and representing the nurse management team• Mentoring charge nurses, QMAs, and CNAs• Monitor resident showers• Assist in Dining Room• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Currently licensed and registered to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Indiana.• Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening.• Pass the physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility.• Professional manner and appearance.
Key Skills Needed
• Supervisory experience• Clinical skills• Senior healthcare and rehabilitation experience (preferred)
