Responsibilities Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to conceptualize and develop truss solutions that meet project requirements and client expectations. Utilize cutting-edge software and tools to create detailed truss designs, taking into consideration factors such as load distribution, material strength, and structural stability. Conduct thorough structural analysis and simulations to ensure the integrity and safety of truss designs. Generate accurate and comprehensive technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for construction teams. Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines. Provide technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any design challenges or modifications that arise. Participate in design reviews, client presentations, and interdisciplinary meetings to facilitate seamless project execution. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize fabrication processes and ensure efficient assembly of truss components. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in truss design and structural analysis, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects. Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g. Alpine, MiTek, AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, etc.). Solid understanding of material properties, load calculations, and engineering principles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Familiarity with local and international building codes and regulations.
