Jacob Care Center is located in San Diego, CA. We are currently looking for a skilled and compassionate Treatment Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. As an Treatment Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about nursing, possess excellent clinical skills, and have a deep commitment to patient well-being. Job Title: Treatment Nurse Facility: Jacob Healthcare Center Facility Type: Sub-Acute Care, SNF, Assisted Living Location: 4075 54th Street, San Diego, CA 92105 Position Type: Weekend Nurse Shift Type: Weekend Nurse AM Shift - 7:00 am to 3:00 pm PM Shift - 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm NOC Shift – 11:00 pm to 7:00 am  Pay Range: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour Department: Nursing All new hires must be COVID-19 Vaccinated or have a medical or religious accommodation before they start. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and medical histories of patients accurately. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Assist physicians and registered nurses during examinations, procedures, and treatments. Perform routine procedures such as wound dressing changes, catheterizations, and tracheostomy care. Monitor and document patients' progress, reactions to medications, and overall conditions. Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication regimens, and post-treatment care. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a high standard of hygiene. Qualifications: Valid and active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California. Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program. New graduates are highly welcome Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques. Proficient in administering medications, injections, and various treatments. Excellent observational, assessment, and critical thinking skills. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
