What would you do as a Therapist As a Full-Time Therapist in the New Vista Program at Wasatch Behavioral Health in Provo, Utah, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect clinical services to individuals facing a range of behavioral health disorders, personal problems, domestic violence, and personality disorders. Your responsibilities will include developing and supervising client treatment programs, conducting individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions, managing your case load, and assisting in the development of permanency plans for clients and their families. Additionally, you will be involved in intake assessments, interviews, documentation, discharge planning, and liaison activities with various agencies and organizations to ensure continuity of patient care and support.

Requirements for this Therapist (FT) in the New Vista Program at our job To excel in the role of Full-Time Therapist in the New Vista Program at Wasatch Behavioral Health, candidates must possess a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Additionally, for Associate Licensed Therapist recognition in Utah, individuals must hold credentials such as Certified Social Worker (CSW), Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC), or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). For Fully Licensed Therapist recognition in the state, candidates should hold licenses like Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and a commitment to providing high-quality care are essential for success in this position.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
