Intertek is looking for an Entry Level Technician to join our Plastics Testing Lab at Pittsfield, MA.

Responsibilities
• Perform standard tests related to the characterization of plastics according to standardized test methods• Prepare and setup test equipment• Perform tests for data as requested by the customer• Record data and write reports• Report any observations or inconsistencies to management• Performing other work as required
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED and 1+ year of relevant experience or equivalent• Injection molding experience is a plus• Ability to utilize basic shop equipment and various hand tools• Ability to review, understand, and convey technical information• Strong communication skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment• Must be quality driven and customer focused• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
