Job summary
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services.The Pipeline Technician maintains and operates pipeline assets including truck delivery terminals, pump stations, and pipeline right of way maintenance.Responsibilities include routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment problems, handling hazardous materials, and working with landowners and contractors.

Responsibilities
• Routine and preventive maintenance of centrifugal pumps, variable speed couplings and electric motors including bearing and seal replacements, precision alignments, couplings, fans, etc.• Routine and preventive maintenance on other mechanical equipment such as block valves, control valves, air compressors, valve actuators, custody transfer meters, etc.• Operation and general maintenance of various terminal and pipeline systems• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.• Perform pipeline right of way work including installation of pipeline markers and routine inspections on ROW• Locate pipelines as needed and oversee excavations and line crossings.• Interaction with various landowners and contractors including private, state, and federal agencies.• Handling of hazardous and highly volatile materials• Exhibit the ability to properly document and complete daily logs, regulatory documentation, and work orders.• Work with other personnel to develop new skill sets as most of the job tasks are on the job training with experienced employees.
Requirements
• A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.• VoTech certificate or Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronics preferred.• A minimum of 2 years' experience in operation, maintenance, and/or construction of a hazardous liquid or gas pipeline facility is preferred.• Knowledge of centrifugal pumps, regulators, MOVs, electronic controls, and medium electrical voltage with an understanding of NGL or liquid pipelines is preferred.• Basic computer skills such as word processing, spreadsheet, and email software are required.• Ability to assume responsibility, be flexible, and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions.• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.• Takes initiative and is proactive in addressing issues.• Must live or relocate to within 1 hour of reporting location.
