Full job description EXPERIENCED MOTOROLA INFRASTRUCTURE TECH Company: Clear Talk is urgently seeking an experienced Motorola Infrastructure Technician. Troubleshooting/Repair experience required for Dispatch Consoles, Astro P25, Base Stations, Repeaters, Two-Way radio equipment. Applicants without this experience will not be considered. As a Motorola Solutions Inc. channel partner, Clear Talk provides innovative solutions, industry experience, and technology expertise for wireless voice, video, and data to public safety (e.g. fire, police, EMS, etc.) and commercial (e.g. manufacturing, education, transportation, construction, utilities, etc.) customers throughout central Illinois.
Job Purpose:
Install, troubleshoot, repair & maintain Motorola Infrastructure devices in fixed locations. Including, but not limited to dispatch consoles, base stations, repeaters and mobile/portable two-way radio equipment.
Essential Functions:
*Plan installations by assessing install, studying technical specifications and gathering all supplies/tools necessary.
*Perform field and bench service of RF system infrastructure, mobile and portable equipment
*Complete preventative maintenance as required on electronic equipment
*Diagnose/troubleshoot/repair problems
*Replace/Upgrade components
Skills/Qualifications:
* Experience with and Advanced Knowledge of Motorola Infrastructure Components *understanding of networking
*Ability to work inside confined spaces during installation
*Troubleshooting, analysis, problem solving
*Mechanical aptitude
*Attention to detail
*Motivated and independent
