The mission of the Housekeeper/Cleaning Team Member is to serve and support all areas of restaurant operations and to ensure food safety. The Housekeeper team member typically reports to and works directly with the restaurant leadership team to support current operations. As an important member of the team, the housekeeper supports all areas of the restaurant by helping stock work areas, refilling kanbans, washing, cleaning & maintaining smallwares, equipment and the overall restaurant, rotation of dry, cold, and freezer food items and cleaning supplies, inventory management, removal, compaction and disposal of trash and cardboard, and performs food preparation tasks. Tasks may also include any of the back-of-house areas including food prep, assembly and cooking including produce, raw, cold & hot breakfast/lunch/dinner products, desserts and beverages. Assisting with catering orders and deliveries may also be a responsibility of a housekeeper team member. All areas of the restaurant will implement LEAN and other required systems & checks for Food Safety, Food Quality, Food Cost and Productivity. All Housekeeper team members are expected to work along with their team and the entire store with a collaborative spirit to strive for excellent performance in all areas.
