Math Teacher - High School The Cape Cod Collaborative is seeking a High School Math teacher for Waypoint Academy, an alternative education public day program, for the ******** school year. This program supports students with behavioral, social, and learning challenges with a positive team approach. The ability to physically handle interventions with students and the ability to demonstrate positive communication skills are crucial. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and implement instruction to ensure that all students have the opportunity to meet Common Core Standards and State Frameworks Use data to inform instruction and services to meet a variety of students needs and strengths and in alignment with student Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Provide regular and timely progress reports on student development Attend IEP Team meetings and develop and implement IEPs Maintain effective communication with students' families in support of student learning and to communicate students' progress Maintain appropriate standards of behavior, mutual respect, and safety Evaluate, try innovative approaches and refine instructional strategies, including the effective use of technologies, to increase student learning and confidence in ability to learn Communicate learning goals and expectations to students Collaborate as a team member within the school building Other duties as assigned by the Program Director QUALIFICATIONS Licensed, or aspiring to be licensed, by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in appropriate content area and grade level Outstanding interpersonal and collaborative teamwork skills Experience in alternative education environment preferred A demonstrated dedication to lifelong learning, reflection, and continued personal and professional growth APPLICATION PROCESS Please submit resume to Sabina Moldovan (HR Manager) by email: View email address on jobs.institutedata.com Contact Sabina at View phone number on jobs.institutedata.com with any questions.
