Seeking a talented Tax Professional for a Top-Notch Local CPA Firm to lead one of the offices in St Joseph, MO. This individual will operate almost autonomously, overseeing all aspects of the office and managing a team of 9 staff members.Position : Tax ManagerLocation : St Joseph, MO (primarily onsite)Compensation : Above market standard $110k-$140k DOESoftware : CCH ProSystems FXKey Responsibilities:Review and supervise all office operations.Focus primarily on reviewing complex tax returns; no preparation required.Manage approximately 1,300 individual and business tax returns annually, along with monthly accounting tasks.Utilize software such as CCH ProSystems FX (experience preferred but not required) and QuickBooksWhat you need :5+ years of Recent experience in Public Accounting.Proven experience in tax management.Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.Familiarity with complex tax returns and accounting procedures.Proficiency in CCH ProSystems FX and QuickBooks is advantageous.What they offer :Benefits: 401k (4%) Match, Employer Pays 75% of H, D, VBonus: 3-5-7% of base compensation paid immediately after the busy seasonHours: 55 hours during busy season & 32 hours outside of busy seasonLunch catered in 1x a week (no talking about work)Choice of Mac or P.C.
