Full job description Creates and maintain web applications and services to support the batteryless computing research community. Work with stakeholders to curate embedded hardware, software, and data content for the developed online community. Other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES: 40% - Essential - Curation of hardware, software, and data artifacts for the online research hub. This will include identifying, testing, refining, manufacturing, and documenting embedded systems research artifacts for the online hub.



30% - Essential - Web application and services development to support the creation of an online research hub for the batteryless computing research community.



20% - Essential - Meets with researchers, students, and other stakeholders to inform the design of the online hub and curated artifacts.



10% - Essential - Assists with the writing of papers and reports related to the other work responsibilities for publication and reporting to funding agencies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related area. Relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

Work Experience: Experience in computer system development and modification
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Preferred Experience: Experience with embedded systems and/or web and network technologies

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 5% - Use hands or feet to operate or handle machinery, equipment, etc
10% - Communicate, converse, give direction, express oneself
5% - Recognize or inspect visually
5% - Perceive, observe, clarity of vision
WORKING CONDITIONS: 5% - Overnight Travel
WORK SCHEDULE: Standard Hours: 37.5
COMPENSATION INFORMATION Expected Salary Range: ($ 66,892.00 - $ 100,000.00)

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.


ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL Normal Operations


Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
