Job Description:
American Financial Group is currently seeking a Support Specialist to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This is a full-time entry-level position ideal for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. As a Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing assistance to our clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:- Provide first-line support to clients via phone, email, and chat- Assist with troubleshooting technical issues and escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and resolutions- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues- Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and patterns in customer concerns- Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve customer experience- Participate in training and ongoing professional development to expand knowledge and skills- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Adaptability and reliability in a fast-paced environment- Ability to think creatively and innovatively- Strong research skills to gather and analyze information effectively- Experience with CRM software preferred- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
