Stellar Industries Inc. is looking for a team member to assist in the daily operations across the Supply Chain department. This person will be familiar with a variety of supply chain aspects, including Purchasing, Inventory, Logistics, and Shipping/Receiving.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities  Represent the Supply Chain on cross-functional teams. Assist the Purchasing Department by having tactical buying responsibilities for products and services such as: Shop Supplies Offsite Chassis Repairs Assist the Inventory Department with daily cycle count data entry and investigation.  Assist the Logistics Department with export shipping compliance.  Manage DOT inpspections for Stellar owned vehicles.  Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements. Contribute to department process improvements and optimization opportunities.  Complete other duties assigned.  Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position also operates in our manufacturing facilities and is required to follow our safety policies.

Education and Experience 3-5 years of Supply Chain related experience in a manufacturing environment.  Qualifications Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, ERP, and working knowledge of logistics management software. Project Management skills. Experience in industry procedures, costs, and terms. Self-starter with the ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing needs of production or customers. Demonstrates the ability to reach logical, responsible, and timely decisions.  Ensures activities are accomplished by awareness of objectives, anticipation of contingencies, and utilization of available resources as appropriate. Demonstrates ability to meet timelines and prioritize work requirements. Demonstrates the ability to accept change and adapt to a variety of assignments and circumstances. Professional interpersonal communication skills. Attributes Results Driven – Ability to think and act strategically to meet business objectives. Be Forward Thinking – Must have the ability to make accurate predictions of the possible needs of our company, as well as outcomes of the Be proactive and develop contingency plans as part of risk management. Accountability – Things don't always go according to plan; be willing to take responsibility and learn from mistakes. Good Interpersonal Skills – This job will require you to deal with a wide variety of people – from co-workers to supervisors, to suppliers and You need to make a good connection with everyone you interact with. There is no room for miscommunication face-to-face or in written form. Additional Requirements Company sponsored continuing education may be required. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
