Supervisor, Environmental Services

Staffmax Healthcare is hiring for our client, a 300 bed facility that is ranked one of the safest hospitals in America. This position is located in Pittsfield, MA – this is a travel job and applicants must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility.
This Environmental Services Supervisor position, reporting to the Director of Environmental Services, entails overseeing daily operations within designated areas of the department. Collaborating on departmental plans, policies, and procedures is a key aspect of the role, alongside adherence to annual operating and capital budgets. Upholding cleanliness, appearance, and safety standards set by BHS and regulatory bodies is paramount.

· Demonstrated effectiveness in team collaboration.
· Strong computer literacy.
· Exceptional written communication skills.
· Track record in conducting evaluations, consultations, and disciplinary actions within specified timeframes.
Key Criteria: · Supervisor experience is mandatory for consideration.
· Minimum of 2 years' experience in environmental services/housekeeping within a healthcare setting.
· Previous leadership/supervisory role in customer service or support services is required.
· High school diploma/GED is a prerequisite.
