Work Hours: up to 30 Hours per week

Caseload: K8 th Grade Students

Job Description Clarifi Staffing Solutions is looking for a Special Education Teacher to join our team of educators.

Responsible for working with children who have disabilities including cognitive emotional or physical disabilities at a middle school. Teaches disabled youth life skills and basic literacy and modifies the general education curriculum to meet the childs needs.

Primary Responsibilities include: Teach disabled children who have mild to moderate disabilities.
Instruct students at the middle school level.
Modify traditional education curriculum to meet childs needs.
Assist children with specific learning disabilities speech or language impairments emotional disturbance multiple disabilities hearing impairments orthopedical impairments visual impairments autism combined deafness and blindness traumatic brain injury.
Help identify children with special needs.
Requirements Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role
Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities
BSc in Special Education; MSc is a plus
Must have an Illinois PEL with special education endorsement (LBS1)
Must be able to work up to 37.5 hours per week through the end of the school year.
