As a Sub-Recipient Monitor at CDR Maguire, your role is pivotal in ensuring the compliance of grant programs with laws, regulations, and policies. Your primary responsibilities encompass conducting grant management site visits, assessing non-compliance risk among sub-recipients, and overseeing the Single Audit process. Leveraging your expertise in grants compliance and auditing, you will contribute to upholding the highest standards of accountability and efficiency in the management of federal funds.
Essential Functions: Subrecipient Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with grant program requirements at all stages, including closeout. Grant Management Site Visits: Conduct annual site visits, collaborating with program managers, to review documentation and assess project locations. Risk Assessment: Evaluate the risk of non-compliance for each sub-recipient using various methods such as annual audits, site visits, Risk Assessments, and ongoing document review. Single Audit Oversight: Oversee the Single Audit (OMB A-133 audit) process for sub-recipients expending $750,000 or more of Federal assistance, ensuring timely completion. Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting on sub-recipient compliance and risk assessment. Travel Requirements: Ability to travel for site visits and other responsibilities. Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate and maintain the grant cycle calendar and site visit schedules. Assist in preparing grant-related materials for applicant and recipient meetings. Requirements Familiarity with FEMA Public Assistance, Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program, and related grants is a plus. Previous experience in grant and financial management. Proven experience in grant regulations, including the Uniform Guidance (2CFR 200). Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to travel as needed for site visits and other responsibilities. Previous experience in grant and financial management. Ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Ability to deal with high pressure. Strong relationship building and influencing skills with the ability to balance education vs. accountability. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially to a diverse range of audiences and settings.
