About the Position: Student Support Advisor
Are you passionate about student success? Join us as a Student Support Advisor and play a pivotal role in guiding students through their educational journeys. Your responsibilities will include providing proactive, accurate, and timely advising on financial, academic, and service-related matters to ensure our students receive the support they need to reach graduation.
What You'll Do:
Assist students through the enrollment process, providing comprehensive information on programs, costs, and funding options.
Develop and validate financial plans, ensuring students are financially prepared for their educational journey.
Maintain a deep understanding of academic and financial aid programs, policies, and procedures.
Monitor student progress and provide guidance to promote positive outcomes.
Proactively identify and address academic and financial obstacles.
Utilize data and systems to track student information accurately.
Connect students with resources and support services.
Ensure precise documentation of interactions.
Qualifications:
Some college coursework required.
Minimum of 1 year of exceptional customer service or advising experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and internet applications.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Home office setup meeting specified requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in higher education.
Familiarity with Title IV funding.
Experience in a dynamic call center environment.
Desire to pursue a Bachelor's degree.
