Procures goods, issues supplies, and performs stockroom activities including acquisition, distribution, delivery, and disposition of goods. Orders are placed using the Commonwealth's e-procurement system (eVA), the Asset Information Management System (AIMS), or Small Purchase Credit Card in accordance with established procurement policies. In accordance with Executive Order (EO)-35 (2019), strives to exceed target goal of 42% of expenditures with small businesses certified by the Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (DSBSD). Receives, inspects, and processes incoming shipments from outside the Department. Completes receiving reports and the Invoice Transmittal (SP-299) documentation in a timely manner. Maintains procurement documents and files. Coordinates field support activities. Assists with Asset Management as needed. Assists with processing end-of-life, obsolete equipment for surplus; coordinates with warehouse personnel for disposal; and updates Asset management Database. Maintains SPHQ COMM Division Stockroom and Conducts Inventory. Coordinates and processes vendor equipment repairs and returns. Ensures proper use of all issued Charge Cards (Small Purchase Charge Card, Special Sworn Charge Card, Voyager Card, Travel Card, and GOLD card). Minimum Qualifications Working knowledge of general procurement, storeroom, material handling and asset management and inventory control procedures; and of basic mathematics. Skill and experience operating computers and using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), inventory and procurement databases; in recordkeeping and organizational abilities; and in operating a variety of standard office equipment such as fax, copier and document scanning machines. Demonstrated ability to maintain a variety of records such as inventory, purchase requisitions, and shipping and receiving documents; to receive material, identify shipping discrepancies, and coordinates with the vendor for return and/or exchange transactions; to take periodic physical inventories; to load and unload heavy supplies; to perform basic mathematical calculations; to work independently and as a team member; to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel, customers and vendors; to prioritize work; to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English; to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted; and to operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts. Graduation from high school or equivalent. Experience receiving, storing, and issuing goods. Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend policies and procedures. Experience with forklift is required. Valid Driver's License is required. Additional Considerations Experience in inventory management and warehousing or store operations is preferred. Experience with eVA - Virginia's eProcurement Portal is preferred.
