Responsible for warehouse safety procedures and compliance with all SOX process control requirements and corporate policies and procedures associated with material managementResponsible for the security, tracking, and control of approximately $12 Million in corporate inventory and on-time delivery of material to operations groupsBasic knowledge of warehouse processes and material control procedures, ability to utilize software to track and control inventory transactions

Responsibilities
• Monitoring, maintaining, and replenishing inventory in an efficient, cost-effective, and safe manner• Ensuring adequate material availability for on-demand work requests and emergency/storm situations• Initiating and resolving claims for shortages and/or returns with suppliers and carriers• Identifying slow-moving and obsolete material and following the obsolete write-off process• Coordinating with other departments for materials reconciliation and process improvements• Communicating with Supply Chain Buyers for material expediting and special orders• Managing material need dates, On Time and In Full (OTIF) process, and assisting Supply Chain and other business organizations regarding discrepancies• Performing additional Supply Chain services required by customers• Managing cycle counting and reconciliation on a monthly basis• Ensuring all processes are performed in accordance with SOX requirements and Supply Chain processes and procedures• Managing accurate data, reporting, tracking, and retention of materials using required Material Management System software• Assisting in system upgrade testing and training Logistics employees• May be responsible for multiple storeroom locations and coordinating emergency off-site pickup or delivery of material• May be called upon to provide support for warehouse personnel
Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management software• Availability to work extended hours and respond to after-hour emergencies• Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to travel between work sites or facilities (depending on location)• Forklift certification may be required (depending on location)• 3 years of experience in warehousing, materials management/purchasing (preferred)
