BWX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Statistician for its Lynchburg, VA location.The Statistician will perform statistical evaluations of quality assurance dataand assist with problem solving investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
• Performs statistical evaluations of quality assurance data• Performs and evaluates statistical analyses to comply with contract requirements• Documents statistical justifications for requirement acceptance and/or violations• Qualifies measurement and inspection systems using statistical evaluations• Develops programs for statistical analyses• Assists other groups in problem solving investigations• Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics with two (2) years of statistical experience• Superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills• Highly self-motivated with attention to detail and decision making skills• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a changing environment• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment• Ability to select appropriate statistical analysis and produce relevant results• Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE clearance
