What You'll DoSamsung ACD (Advanced Circuit Design) team in San Jose is looking for a Staff Test Engineer to join the team of passionate engineers to perform RF testing, debugging, and characterization for Samsung's world-class RFIC solutions. The candidate is expected to have experience with PCB schematic design, RF measurements/calibrations knowledge, and test automation scripting skills.Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.Job ID: 41897Work with and as a part of the ACD testing team to assist with new chip bring-up, data collection, and optimization.Characterize and debug RF PCB/chip failures and work with RF Design/Test team to identify design issues, reproduce customer problems, and run experiments.Develop, maintain, and document test scripts to control test equipment and RFIC for automation.Prepare test plans, generate reports with data analysis and present reports in front of engineering and management teams.PCB Schematic and layout design for analog/RF signals. Layout review for EMI and signal integrity.What You BringBachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience (or Master's and 8+ years) or PhD with 5+ years with focus in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Strong RF wireless background and RF measurements fundamentals.Familiarity with RF test equipment (i.e. Spectrum/Signal Analyzer, Vector Signal Generator, Vector Network Analyzer, Power Meter, etc.).Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python and C# .NET.Experience with PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro.Excellent problem solving, teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience with using Machine Learning / AI technology for Data Analysis automation.Experience with software revision control systems (SVN or Git).You're inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people.An avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding.You're collaborative, building relationships, humbly offering support and openly welcoming approaches.Innovative and creative, you proactively explore new ideas and adapt quickly to change.#LI-KD1
