Arkansas Talent Group is working with an industry-leading provider of renewable energy solutions in North Little Rock to find an Accountant for their team! The accountant will work closely with the Management Team to deliver monthly financials for The Parent Company and several subsidiaries.
Duties :
Maintain accurate subsidiary ledgers for various accounts, including property, inventory, and accounts receivable. Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring precise recording, distribution, and reconciliation of customer billings and payments in alignment with Solar Power Services Agreements. Assist in generating diverse reports for external stakeholders, encompassing personal property tax assessments and debt covenant obligations. Manage accounts payable operations, encompassing invoice and credit recording, payment reconciliation with vendor statements, and request processing. Act as a contingency in issuing checks when the Accounting Manager is unavailable. Contribute to the monthly and yearly closure of general ledger accounts, encompassing accrual preparation, amortization entry recording, and bank reconciliation. Coordinate the processing of expense reports and employee reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Support in recording monthly transactions, conducting data reconciliation, and preparing journal entries. Aid in implementing and upholding internal controls and accounting protocols, adhering to GAAP standards. Record and reconcile intercompany transactions accurately. Participate in fulfilling external and internal audit inquiries promptly. Collaborate on enhancing operational processes to optimize departmental efficiency. Provide management with financial insights and specialized reports, conducting thorough research and analysis as needed. Qualifications :
