Responsibilities

Requirements
• Medical Degree from an accredited School of Medicine• Completed Residency in Psychiatry• At least one year inpatient psychiatric experience• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in WA• Board Certified or Board Eligible as Practicing Psychiatrist• Current WA License• Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider)• Knowledge of appropriate assessment and evaluation tools and tests• Knowledge of milieu management• Advanced skills in medication management
Key Skills Needed
• Knowledge of acute adult, adolescent, and child psychological disorders• Advanced knowledge of principles of abnormal psychology• Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation• Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families• Skill in preparing and maintaining appropriate medical record documentation
