Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology and Telecom, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, is currently seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer for a long-term Hybrid engagement at one of our Global clients in Skillman, NJ _. _
This role is a full-time, fully benefited position. As a KellyOCG employee you will be eligible for 50% paid Medical and Dental, 401K, and a variety of other benefits to choose from. The Senior Packaging Engineer is responsible for leading the development of new packages for the Essential Health franchise Regionally and Globally at both an NPD (New Product Development) and LCM (Life Cycle Management) level . Consumer personal care products, Skin Health group . Candidate must have a proven track record of delivering consistently strong results. This will include projects and activities at internal or external manufacturing sites. Responsible for specifications, documentation, package line trials, and package testing to support product release. Take a leadership role with packaging projects and possess the ability to influence multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Packaging, Engineering or a related Science field is required; an Advanced degree is preferred A minimum of 5 years minimum experience in Cosmetic/Personal Care, Consumer Product Goods, OTC, Food, or related industry is required This position requires in-depth knowledge of materials and processes used in the construction and manufacturing of packaging such as Plastics Molding: IM, EBM, ISBM Glass container molding Aluminum container and tubes conversation Dispensing systems (airless, pumps) Custom Compact design Propel/ Repel Mechanism Solid understanding of a broad spectrum of packaging materials, structures, components, and related conversion processes is required Experience in packaging line trials and package testing is required Ability to partner and lead effectively across functions and functional levels is required Technical Leadership skills are required Project Management skills are preferred Ability to prioritize multiple rapidly changing priorities with minimal direction is required Strong technical writing/documentation skills are preferred Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify root causes, draw conclusions, and generate reports that present sound data-driven conclusions is preferred A strong focus on sustainability and eCommerce packaging preferred Fluent in English, knowledge of French is advantageous This position may require up to 20% travel Important information: This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.
