Sr. Buyer

Sr. Buyer Location Golden Valley, MN : Top MUST HAVE SKILLS: - 5+ years Buyer experience
- Buying experience in Electronics and Mechanical
- Defense or Space Buying experience a BIG PLUS
- Strong SAP background
- MUST own the Purchase Req to PO process - this is the majority of the work (about 75%)
- High dollar, complex PO work experience - several years of experience with documenting purchase order details in various regulatory environments (FDA, FAA, DoD, etc.)
- Team player, able to work cross-functionally with technical teams to document reasons behind making purchases
- Not looking for someone who has not purchased for many years (more than 5-7 years since last purchasing role)
- Someone with poor behaviors or expects to work on their own.
Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers. May require a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
