Responsibilities
• Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process.• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.• Maintain standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry.• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patients' clinical condition.• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patients' condition and/or response to treatment.• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
Requirements
• Current and valid state RN License.• Current BLS certificate, ACLS certificate, and PALS certificate.• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.• Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting, E.R. setting preferred.• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
