Special Education Teacher

As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking several full-time Special Education Teachers to provide in-person instruction to public school students. Either EBD or Work-Based Certification is required, depending on specific position. These positions are for the 2024/2025 school year.
Special Education Teacher Position Details:
EBD Certification required: 3 positions available
Center based-Elementary Students
Center based-Middle School Students
Center based-High School Students
Work Based Certification required: 1 position available
High School students
50/50 on two high school campuses
Special Education Teacher Qualification(s):
Minnesota state teaching license
School certification for the state of Minnesota
EBD or Work-Based certification, depending on specific position
Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Special Education Teacher Responsibilities May Include:
Implementing specially designed instruction to drive student achievement
Conducting progress monitoring data and adjusting instruction based on the data
Establishing a positive, structured, achievement-focused classroom
Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
Participating in multidisciplinary meetings
