Job Summary:
Join our team as a Simulation Educator and play a vital role in delivering high-quality education in a dynamic and flexible environment. This part-time position offers great flexibility with mostly remote work, supplemented by occasional onsite education events in Temple, TX. As a Simulation Educator, you will collaborate closely Simulation team, educational affiliates, and faculty to facilitate effective learning experiences.
Essential Functions of the Role:
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate learner curriculum, ensuring the delivery of teaching priorities, policies, procedures, and content.
Provide comprehensive support and execution for curriculum, including regular assessments based on appropriate criteria.
Assist in scheduling sessions for students and educational affiliate groups, facilitating learning, assessment, and remediation sessions as needed.
Maintain regular communication with simulation coordinators and administrative support to ensure comprehensive learner assistance.
Support assessment needs related to equipment and purchasing and contribute to budget planning as learner needs evolve.
Conduct training and assessment of learner skills as required by educational affiliates.
Participate in meetings with educational affiliate teams, senior educators, and curriculum teams, both onsite in Temple and at affiliate campuses.
Coordinate and implement processes specific to learner needs and support at the Temple campus, in collaboration with the Medical Skills Director and requestors.
Key Success Factors:
Demonstrated teaching experience with expertise in testing paradigms and hands-on skill assessments.
Proficiency in Microsoft products, particularly Excel.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Public Health, Allied Health/Health Sciences, Health Care Administration, Training and Development, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred: 3 years of experience in Medical Education.
