Overview: Slot Technician It is the responsiblity of the Slot Technician to provide fast, friendly service while performing repairs and preventative maintenance on slot matchines.
Responsibilities: Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service Ensure all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards Maintain confidentiality of all Golden Nugget information including business processes, customer lists and any other confidential information Perform preventive maintenance, modifications and relocation of slot machines and peripheral devices Rebuild parts/equipment during down time, and maintains the parts inventory as assigned Circulate through assigned area performing repairs as necessary Ensure that all slot/storage areas are clean and organized Responsible for the set-up and testing new slot product Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment to perform functions of the position Complete all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly Performs other duties or projects as required Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs Qualifications: Minimum one year of slot repair experience High school diploma or GED equivalent Must be able to obtain a required state Casino Employee Registration What we offer you: Benefit options available Paid Time Off 401K Opportunities for advancement Positive and respectful work environment where diversity is valued Generous employee discounts on dining, retail, amusements, and hotels Community volunteer opportunities Disclaimer : The above information is intended as a high-level overview of the responsibilities and qualifications for the position and does not represent the full job description which will include all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, and working conditions associated with the job.
