About the Job As the Renewables Site Manager reporting to the Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution and delivery of renewable energy construction projects, including utility-scale solar installations, BESS systems, wind farms, hydrogen projects, and other related projects from start of construction to commissioning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of solar energy systems and installation processes.
Your Role Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, in collaboration with project stakeholders. Site Management: Supervise all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Resource Management: Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower resources to optimize project productivity and minimize downtime. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all construction work meets industry standards and project requirements. Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and take proactive measures to mitigate issues and keep projects on track. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders and regulatory authorities to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and permits. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including daily progress reports, safety records, and change orders. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve construction-related challenges and conflicts in a timely and efficient manner, leveraging technical expertise and effective communication skills. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in solar energy and construction management, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Your Profile Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred). Proven experience (5+ years) in construction management Knowledge and understanding of renewable energy technologies, construction practices, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced construction environment. Certification in construction management or relevant professional credentials (e.g., PMP) is a plus. Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental sustainability in all aspects of construction operations Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects.
