My client who has been in business for 90 years is a leader in custom manufacturing (automotive and supplier industries, hydraulics and pneumatics, as well as aerospace).

Outgoing Shipments: (Domestic and International)
· Prepare/Arrange parcels for shipment both physically and within Clients MRP system as well as carrier websites
· Verify paperwork/serial numbers/quantity are all accurate
· Coordinate with daily Drivers for pickups (UPS, FEDEX, DHl, other)
· Verify all outgoing international shipments have the correct documentation (TSUS Codes, Pro Forma, etc.)
Incoming Shipments: (Domestic and International)
· Work with Carriers onsite to ensure appropriate equipment for unloading
· Open packages to verify that paperwork matches contents of package. This includes verifying quantities, correct serial #'s etc. A physical inspection of parts to conclude no damage to materials. If an issue occurs, contact Purchasing Manager
· Hold material for Quality if inspection required
· Receive materials into Clients MRP system
· Deliver/Contact the employee/Requestor of the material
Other Duties:
· Use of Forklift for palletized material – need Forklift certification
· Use of other shipping/receiving items – carts, hand lifts, etc.
· Daily cleanup/5S for shipping/receiving area
· Daily mail brought in and delivered to appropriate department/employee
· Ordering supplies for shipping/receiving department
· Delivering Paperwork to various departments (Accounting, Aftermarket, Purchasing, Quality etc.)
· Scan in all certs for proper online storage and accessibility
· Staging material in Crib
· Lock up Crib each day
· Any other duties required and requested by Purchasing Manager
Required Skills and Abilities
· Organizational and communication skills
· Knowledge of Shipping Methods, Parcel, LTL, Truck Load, Specialty Trucks & Equipment
· 1-2 years' experience in warehouse / shipping / receiving for manufacturing
· Must adhere to all Clients Safety policies
· Verify all hazardous materials are handled according to MSDS guidelines
· Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
Pay is based off experience.
This is an hourly position and is expected to be 40+ hours a week as needed
