Set-Up Technician

Assembles and services all types of equipment offered for sale by the dealership. Prepares equipment for delivery to the customer or for demonstration purposes. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager, Service Location Manager, Shop Foreman or senior technicians.Job Duties:Assembles and services all types of equipment, established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products, and other merchandise offered for sale by the dealershipPerforms pre-delivery inspection on all types of equipment and other merchandise offered for sale by the dealershipOperates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required in the set-up and delivery processMaintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashionFollows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignmentsCompletes all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignmentsAccounts for all time and material used in performing assigned dutiesMay participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledgeAnd other duties as assignedJob Requirements:Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processesAbility to assemble machinery components and to follow manufacturers pre-delivery instructionsAbility to use Service Advisor and basic computer functionsFundamental level of knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power-trans, air-conditioning, and electrical systems as they apply to machines marketed by the DealershipAbility to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedlyHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience requiredValid drivers license requiredFork lift license preferredAg-Pro provides a comprehensive range of benefits for all full-time positions that includes medical, dental, vision and a matching 401-K retirement plan along with a variety of other optional benefits.Ag Pro Companies is a Drug Free Workplace and Equal Opportunity EmployerAll positions require pre-employment screening.Must be authorized to work in the United States.
