Position Overview: The Service Sales Representative (SSR) is responsible for driving profitable sales growth for a logistics service provider through new customer acquisition, customer retention, and network building. This role is critical in building relationships with customers and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction. Develop and implement strategies to build customer networks and increase customer retention. Identify new sales opportunities to increase revenue and profitability. Collect customer data to assess customer needs and identify gaps in service offerings. Manage freight settlement, carrier awards and costs, and delivery solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Develop and execute performance management strategies to improve customer service. Analyze customer data to identify trends to develop strategies for sales growth and profitability. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities. Qualifications: Excellent customer service skills. Strong interpersonal skills and communication proficiency. Proficiency in logistics. Ability to think critically and exercise sound judgment. Ability to drive for results and take ownership of outcomes. Self-knowledge and an understanding of customer needs. Strong time management skills. Experience in network building and customer growth. Knowledge of freight settlement, carrier awards and costs, and delivery solutions is preferred.
