SEO Specialist Location Grand Rapids, MI : Responsibilities:- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving organic search rankings- Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, and on-page elements, to improve search engine visibility- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console- Develop and implement link building strategies to increase website authority- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are followed in content creation- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and algorithm updates to continuously improve SEO strategies- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of SEO efforts- Provide recommendations for website improvements based on SEO analysis Qualifications & Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 2 years of experience in Search Optimization OR Master's Degree and 0-2 years of experience in Search Optimization OR equivalent work experience Customer-facing role requiring direct client consultation and management Local Search Optimization Experience Strong written and communication skills Preferred Attributes & Qualifications Google Analytics Certification Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Self-direction and ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision Basic understanding of technical architecture and web design Understanding of internet and mainstream information technology concepts, search engine optimization best practices Note: This is not intended to be all-inclusive.
