Self Esteem Brands, LLC, parent company of Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City, Basecamp Fitness, The Bar Method, and Stronger U, is seeking a passionate, creative and curious Senior UX Designer to join our Digital Product and Design Team to work on our Anytime Fitness SmartCoaching Ecosystem products. Summary: As a Sr. UX Designer at Self Esteem Brands for our Anytime Fitness Member App and Coaching Dashboard, you will be working hand in hand with our Product Managers as a strategic thought partner shaping the global experience for these brands. This means that you will be actively involved in the product development process from the early stages of conceptualization to the final release. You will be responsible for bringing the user's (guests, members, staff) perspective to the table and ensuring that the product is designed with the user's needs in mind. This includes conducting user research, creating user personas and scenarios, conducting usability testing, and driving our team's design process forward.

Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions) Developing novel solutions to complicated design problems
Crafting detailed interaction and pixel specifications
Preparing assets for use on a variety of platforms
Presenting to other designers and executives
Maintaining up-to-date documentation and design files
Ensuring design consistency across platforms and products
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product marketing, and executive sponsors
Understanding and aligning with the brand's high standards and design aesthetic.
Leading user research projects
Contributing to new UX process development processes
Contributing to strategic UX operations projects
Strengths: Portfolio of designs demonstrating work across mobile and web (Kiosk, operational systems, and physical experiences are a plus)
Deep systems thinker, able to optimize sophisticated information architecture
Rigorous attention to detail
Enthusiasm for an iterative design process inspired by group critique
Empathy driven and experienced in the design thinking process
Proficient at extending existing design patterns across platforms
Able to clearly communicate concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, and prototypes
Flexible and comfortable using artifacts to help their team shape ambiguity into direction
Expertise in documenting interaction details, visual design specifications, building design systems and QA of the implemented product
Highly skilled in Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, and other design tools
Experience building and modifying HTML and CSS
Deep passion for design process, tools, and techniques, and a proven ability to push their team design practices and capabilities forward
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Operates well in a flexible, agile process
Background: 6+ years of work experience with a focus on product design for mobile and desktop
BFA, BA, MA, or MS in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.?
