Senior Tax Accountant

System One is assisting a Tulsa company with a search for a Senior Tax Accountant.  The Senior Tax Accountant will work with others who excel in their areas of expertise. 



Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and review of Federal and State Income Tax returns Involved with calculating the tax provision and the quarterly estimated tax payments Assist with the preparation of monthly sales and use tax returns Gather supporting data for internal and external requests including transaction tax audits and research related issues Pull information together in support of property tax filings Assist with the calculation of the foreign tax provision and financial statement reporting Handle notices from taxing authorities seeing them through to resolution Research tax issues and positions, both domestic and international, documenting recommendations Other duties as assigned Requirements: 2 – 5 years of income tax experience, preferably in public accounting Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, CPA or CPA eligible highly preferred Federal and state income tax return preparation experience required Sales and use tax return preparation experience, a plus Strong Excel skills and good with computer systems Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously Takes initiative and has a strong work ethic Ability to work across different time zones and cultures Salary:  $70,000 - $100,000 (Depending on Experience)
