Senior Systems Engineer

Senior Systems Engineer (100% Remote)Plans and executes the design, development, implementation, integration and support of systems and services into a complex computing environment. Writes test plans for new and existing environments and requirements of the enterprise in an efficient, scalable, reliable and cost effective manner. Ensures system security throughout the organization. Analyzes system capacity and ensures performance of operating environments.ACCOUNTABILITIESMAY LEAD PLANNING, DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPPORT OF SYSTEMS AND SERVICES THAT IMPACT FUTURE DEVELOPMENTSMay lead and execute all or a majority project tasks for systems and applications with multiple integration points, cross functional business impact, or new technologies/processesDemonstrates knowledge of solutions within multiple technologiesMay lead and execute systems management to ensure optimal current and future efficiency and functionalityAssess project requirements and provides design input, including financial analysisPlans upgrades, migrations, optimizations, new implementations and identifies and resolves efficiency issuesWrites and reviews scripts, templates, interfaces and utility applications to continuously improve functionalityMay lead and execute design and deploy activities for operating environmentsDevelops, tests, troubleshoots and documents new and enhanced systemsWrites and reviews test plans for new and existing operating environmentsProvides level three support for area of expertiseTroubleshoots and resolves a wide range of systems problemsMay recommend standards and best practices including capacity planning, recovery strategies and security for supported areasQUALIFICATIONSREQUIREDIn-depth knowledge and skills in infrastructure/systems lifecycle methodology, scripting as appropriate for area of expertise3+ years of experience in systems engineeringKnowledge of interface standards and interoperability, common testing tools and methodsBachelors degree or equivalent in MIS, Computer Science or related fieldPREFERREDCMDB experienceExperience with ServiceNowAdvanced degree in related fieldRetail experienceExperience with Kohls platforms and technologiesDemonstrated experience implementing large business systemsProfessional certificationsFor other Kohl's jobs, click here here!
