The Role:
As the Senior Staff Specimen Acquisition and Inventory Manager, you'll be instrumental in sourcing samples for innovative biomarkers and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely and the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse array of stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Cultivate strong relationships with biospecimen providers, research institutions, and other key stakeholders.
Oversee the acquisition of samples for advanced biomarkers, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
Implement effective inventory management systems to track sample availability, expiration dates, and storage conditions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sample acquisition and inventory management processes seamlessly.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field with extensive experience, or a Master's/Doctoral degree with significant experience.
Proficiency in laboratory processes, sample collection methodologies, and relevant regulations.
Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with internal and external partners effectively.
Familiarity with quality control practices and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
