Senior Staff Accountant

SALARY RANGE: $65,000 to $80,000, based upon experience.
THE COMPANY:
Real Equity Management is a privately owned design-build and full-service property management firm. REM's asset portfolio is centered around both commercial and residential real estate. Their primary focus however is in market-rate and student apartment communities. REM currently oversees properties in Missouri and Kentucky.
SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT POSITION:
We are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant that can adapt and wear multiple hats within our Accounting Team. This position will handle the full-cycle accounting process for a group of diverse entities and partake in the financial analysis of our business operations. 
SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT RESPONSIBILITIES: Full cycle accounting for assigned entities, including financial statement preparationPerform cash and bank reconciliationsProcess and analyze inter-company billingsMonitor prepaid and accrual schedulesGeneral ledger reconciliation and analysisAccounts receivable reconciliationsLoan tracking and reportingSENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience required5+ years of GAAP accounting experienceProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickbooksExcellent organizational skills and analytical abilitiesAbility to work well in a collaborative environment
