You'll learn more about this during the recruitment process.JOB SUMMARY:The Senior Software Engineer - DevOps is responsible for implementing and maintaining the platform and tools that enable a continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline that meets Development, IT Security and Program Governance requirements. This role is also responsible for implementing the infrastructure and processes that enable monitoring and observability for Servers, Application and Network.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate effectively with leadership, technical leads, and teams to develop an infrastructure that maximizes environment availability throughout the pipeline and ensures configuration consistency.Maintain applications and integrations that enable the CI/CD pipeline and analyze requirements from onboarding requests.Perform design and development duties on projects that lead to the transformation of the business to a DevOps culture with little to no direct supervision.Maintain tools that enable continuous monitoring in the UPT ecosystem.Assist other technical staff in resolving incidents.Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred.EXPERIENCE:5+ years of experience in software engineering or IT, with experience in Agile Development and a strong knowledge of DevOps principles; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Your talent, skills and experience will be rewarded with a competitive compensation package.Universal Orlando Resort.Here you can.Universal Orlando is an equal opportunity employer.
