Global Engineering & Technology (GET) is seeking a Nuclear Weapons Subject Matter Expert (SME)Long-term, on-site position at the Department of Energy facility in Germantown, MarylandProvides relocation support to the Germantown area

Responsibilities
• Conduct classification review and analysis of government material• Follow applicable laws, regulations, DOE orders, and DOE Office of Classification procedures• Expertise in various technical areas related to nuclear weapons• Review and analysis of Restricted Data (RD), Formerly Restricted Data (FRD), and National Security Information (NSI)• Have knowledge and experience in nuclear weapon design, testing, production, and deployment• Familiarity with isotope separation technologies and nuclear material processing• Knowledge of counterintelligence, nuclear intelligence, and nuclear nonproliferation• Understanding of military utilization and effects of nuclear weapons• Knowledge of radiological weapons, improvised nuclear devices, space nuclear reactors, and naval nuclear propulsion
Requirements
• Possess an active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance• Minimum of five (5) years field experience in nuclear-related subject areas• Direct experience in nuclear weapon programs at DOE and/or DoD• Comprehensive knowledge of thermonuclear weapon construction and operation• Optional: Two (2)-year tour of duty as a military service Military Research Associate• Master's degree in a physical science or related engineering field
