Senior Graphic Packaging Designer Location Monroe, LA (Lamyville area) : Using creative thinking skills and attention to detail, you will create broad range of global packaging. You will be communicating closely with our team to understand design intent and turn ideas into final packaging designs. Contributing throughout all of the production processes, you will be implementing production design across the complete set of programs assets and help to identify opportunities to improve and maintain time sensitive deadlines, bringing accurate, on-time consumer products to market. Your responsibilities will include: Work in a team environment on the development and turnover of assets, including reviews, revisions, and approval of final files.Prep, proof, preflight, and approve final mechanicals on designer and supplier output specs.Ensure the integrity of the approved concept design throughout the production processUtilize and lend technical knowledge to build and keep uniformity across all print mechanicalsVerify the accuracy of copy, regulated package elements, and basic compliance requirementsIndependently manage production tasks assigned by the program manager to deliver on timePrepare assets for distributionKeep current with production standards and technologyContinuously improve and implement design production solutions that advance output quality, increase efficiency, and speedEnsure all projects are completed within identified timelines and outputs meet requirements for deliveryTake on production projects beyond packaging when needed Preferred skills and experiences Bachelor's Degree in Graphic design5+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and PhotoshopExperience approving product photographyPackaging experienceCreating and adjusting dielinesProduction design for mass-produced consumer-packaged goods/ electronicsKnowledge and experience with international projectsPossess organizational skills with high attention to detail, in a deadline-oriented environment.
