What you’ll doBecome part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:Write requirements to design, develop and test specific functions within a vehicle, such as EE or infotainment systemsCollaborate with hardware and software development teams to ensure seamless integration of these functions into the overall vehicle system. Monitor and troubleshoot function performance issuesEnsure that all functions meet automotive industry standards and regulationsCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customersManage the roadmap for development, testing and release of the function for the full lifecycle of the vehicle.Coordination and assessment of risks (risk management)Stay current with advancements in technology and incorporate them into the development process for future updatesLocation & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events occasionally. The role will be based out of a Scout Motors location in Fremont, CA. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.Initial base salary = $130,000 - $150,000Internal leveling code: IC9
