Location: Telecommute from anywhere within the U.S.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in processing provider applications and re-applications, from initial mailing to review and database entry.
Conduct audits and offer constructive feedback to enhance processes and performance.
Demonstrate expertise in credentialing procedures, serving as a valuable resource to colleagues.
Tackle complex problems independently, proactively seeking innovative solutions.
Facilitate conflict resolution within the team and contribute actively to cross-functional project teams.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with stringent standards such as NCQA, CMS, and state credentialing requirements.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 5+ years of provider credentialing experience.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in health care provider enrollment/credentialing.
Proficiency in compliance workflows and processes, including familiarity with NCQA policies.
Experience with Medicare and state Medicaid applications for behavioral health in multiple states.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
Comfortable with learning new computer system applications and navigating Windows PC environments.
Adherence to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy for remote work.
